Worship Ministry

At Millington First Baptist Church, our Worship Ministry exists to worship God and bring glory to His name as we lead corporately each week. We believe that music, transcending age, background and ability, is a tool that unites us all in joining together to worship our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our Mission

Inspired by Psalm 66:2, “Sing for the honor of His name; make His praise glorious,” we understand the power of music as a spiritual force, mentioned over 800 times in the Bible. In our Worship Ministry, we use our voices and instruments to honor God, acknowledging His work in our lives and expressing our victorious Christian life.

Who We Are

Our Worship Ministry is a diverse group of individuals, ranging from preschoolers to senior adults, each bringing their unique musical talent to serve the Lord. Regardless of your musical background or abilities, there’s a place for you here, to join in the glorification of God’s name through song and sound.

Worship Choir

Leading our congregation every Sunday morning and during special events throughout the year, the Worship Choir is open to various age groups. No audition or music reading abilities required, just a heart for worship. Rehearsals take place every Wednesday at 6:30 PM in the Music Suite in room W236.

Complementing our worship services with instrumental harmonies, the orchestra meets for rehearsal every Wednesday at 6:30 PM in the Worship Center.

Children’s Choir

A nurturing space for children in grades 1-5 to learn about music and worship. We teach them to praise the Lord through singing and playing instruments, regardless of their musical background. Meetings are every Wednesday at 5:30 PM in room C108 in our Children’s Wing.

Come, lend your talents to the Worship Ministry of Millington First Baptist Church and experience the joy of making His praise glorious.
