Sharon’s Story

Millington, Tennessee has been my home all of my life. God called my family to Millington First Baptist Church in 1998. It was during that year, I surrendered to the Preschool Ministry. I served in the Preschool Ministry for over 17 years before God led me to a new role. God gave me a passion to introduce preschoolers and their families to the love of Jesus and I now enjoy volunteering in the Preschool Ministry. I currently serve as the Director of Events and Office Operations and enjoy this new role. I am currently pursuing a certification in Christian Ministry at New Orleans Theological Seminary. I have been married to my husband Chris for 26 years. God has given us 2 wonderful children Dylan and Katie and a daughter in law Kate. I enjoy traveling, shopping and spending time with my family. One of our favorite things to do as a family is watch Tennessee football. In 2016, I was privileged to be selected as the Director of our Women’s Ministry. What a joy it has been to see women gain a deeper love for Him through His word!
