First Baptist Church is committed to families and one of the ways that we seek to encourage families is through our ministry to adults. We understand that in life’s journey there is the need for accountability, encouragement, and to know that there are others facing the same struggles and joys.
One of the measures of success from our vision is for families to maintain a family devotion. We are challenged to sit down around the dinner table three times each week and have a devotion that involves reading God’s Word together and spending time in prayer.
Here are just a few ways that we want to help this time to be successful for your family:
- You can go to our HomePointe center located in the Gathering Place to get free resources to use in your devotion time.
- Click on the link to view and/or subscribe to a daily email from “Our Daily Bread“, which is a free devotional resource.
- There are physical copies available around the church at the first of each month and quarter for special devotions that are provided for free. Examples include Open Windows, Our Daily Bread, Journey, and Stand Firm.

In FBC’s Adult Ministry you will find gender-specific groups that minister directly to your needs. You will also find a group of people that are excited about serving Christ, whether it is through a dinner, concert, or special weekend getaway. We want people to know that they belong and have a place in the family of Christ with others just like themselves!
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Bro. Joseph Brasher.
Adults will also find gender and age-specific ministries targeted to certain segments of the congregation.
